The cuckoo clock was a kindergarten girl in the play “Little Swiss Clock Shop” presented at Rappahannock County Elementary School on March 13.
“Cuckoo!!” was her only line, but she knew it so well that everyone noticed. She said it 20 times.
Bloodmobile
Continued from page 1 Warrenton and to Vint Hill this fiscal year, plus a special Bloodmobile at Fauquier High School, Mr. Borjes points out, so for the chapter to reach its assigned quota of 1300 units requires the cooperation of every eligible donor. Up to this point, the community has contributed 759 units.
Any person in normal health who is more than 17 years of age may donate blood, and must wait only two months between donations. So anyone who contributed when the Bloodmobile was last at the fire house, in January, is eligible to give again. On that occasion, the chapter collected more than 100 units.

Hunger project
organized
As one response to domestic and international hunger some concerned individuals in Rappahannock who wanted to do more to connect with the plight of the world’s hungry formed a community garden project two years ago. The produce from the garden is sold locally with all the proceeds forwarded to a relief organization.
The world produce is distributed at the County Nutrition Site for the elderly. If you would be interested in becoming part of this summer work project dedicated to responding to the hunger crisis please contact Rev. Steve Scoggin at 675-3336.
