clinic scheduled

The American Lung Association of Northern Virginia is conducting a four session Stop Smoking Clinic for anyone with a sincere desire to stop smoking.

The clinic,' which has helped thousands of Northern Virginia smokers to become ex-smokers, will be held at Wood bridge Senior High School, 30013 Old Bridge Road, Woodbridge, from 7 — 9 p.m. on the evenings of April 8, 10, 14, and 16. The fee is $15.

ALANV Stop Smoking Clinic participants will learn why they smoke, what triggers a smoking response and how to break a smoking pattern. Featuring films, group discussion and instruction in relaxation techniques, the program is designed to help smokers quit and stay quit permanently.

Registration forms may be obtained by contacting the ALANV office at 703-591-4131. Since space is limited, those planning to attend are urged to register by April 4.
