pendulum. Charles McGlothlin, chairman of Wakefield’s Math Department and physics instructor, commented that he was impressed by the number of projects in the Physics Division that relied on original research.

Zoebelein, who is responsible for organizing the Science Fair each year, said that he was pleased with the results of the students’ hard work. He added that as students gain experience in preparing for the annual event, their projects become more sophisticated and this in turn improves the overall quality of the fair.

Zoebelein admitted that preparing for the event involved a great deal of work, both for him and for the students. It is obviously work that is enjoyed, however, as he is already planning changes and improvements for next year’s Science Fair.
