Rappahannock High Varsity baseball begins March 26, when the Panthers travel to Blue Ridge near Charlottesville. The RCHS baseball home opener is April 8 against Page County.
The Panthers have seven returning lettermen this season, five of them seniors. Co-captains Chucky Jenkins and Tommy Jenkins return to catching and pitching duties, respectively. Both bring big bats, too! Chucky Jenkins hit 420 last spring; Tommy Jenkins, 330.
All seniors are anticipated starters, said Varsity Coach Jon Heddleston. Other seniors are Rob Brown, Craig Williams and H. B. Wood.
