Perhaps they compensate for any deficiencies in the school system through hard work, dedication and determination. Dollars won’t buy these qualities. We’re fortunate that most of the young people in Rappahannock inherit these qualities.
Many individuals envision a direct correlation between the quality of education and total dollars spent. Unfortunately, this is not always the case. In fact, we often approach the other end of the scale labeled diminishing return where we get less for each dollar invested. Prudence should be exercised by the county government to insure we get maximum benefits per dollar invested.
