Eurythmy performance

The Washington Eurythmy Group from Washington, D.C. will perform at 8:00 p.m. Saturday, October 18th at the Gay Street Theatre in Washington, Virginia. Eurythmy is a unique dance form developed by Rudolf Steiner early in this century. As a performing art, Eurythmy is a moving expression of music, speech and drama. The performers wear richly colored silk costumes and move together harmoniously. “A Eurythmy performance is a colorful visual experience in which music and language come alive on stage.”

The event is part of a two day meeting October 18 and 19 sponsored by the .Virginia Association of Biological Farmers.

‘Twice in si Lifetime’

Twice in a Lifetime will be playing at the Gay Street Theater on October 17 and 19 at 7:30 p.m. each evening.

It is a gritty, realistic and adult look at a marriage that has run’ out of love and a man who reaches for a second chance with another Woman. It has been said that this is Gene Hackman’s finest role in years and that both he and Ellen Burstyn should start rehearsing Oscar acceptance speeches. The movie is rated R.

Fall festival at Hope Hill

Hope Hill Baptist Church near Castleton invites the public to attend its fall festival on Saturday, October 18 from 4 to 8 p.m. Come, enjoy a good time of fun, games “doggie” roast and many other fall activities urged Pastor Milton Switzer. ‘Carmen’ to be shown

The Family Worship Center invites all to a showing of Carmen on video. Carmen is a contemporary Christian artist.
