Recently, there has been a teach- *
ing in the body of Christ on The Lord's j Prayer. This teaching helps one learn j how to pray effectively and how to un-! lock all of God's blessings in our per- j sonal lives our families, our church j and our nation. In the 6th Chapter of! Matthew. Jesus was teaching on j prayer After He had given some in- j structions concerning prayer, He told ] his disciples to pray in this manner: j Our Father, which art in heaven, hal- S lowed be Thy Name. Thy kingdom■ come Thy will be done in earth, as itj is in heaven. Give us this day our i daily bread And forgive us our debts, ■ as we forgive our debtors, and lead i us not into temptation, but deliver us J from evil: For thine is the kingdom, ; and the power, and the glory, for-! e/er Amen. J
Jesus wks teaching them how to | pray a prayer that would cover every ! a'ea of their lives. Don't you think that | God wants us to know how to pray I and receive all He has for us? The '■ Bible says in Matthew 6:8: "He knows j what we have need of even before we i ask Him." If you are born again, this '■ teaching on The Lord's Prayer will! greatly enhance your life, if you will i appropriate it. If you are not yet born ! again, you can be by just simply con-] fessmg Jesus as your Lord and then J turning your life around and living for; Him — that is what repenting means ! Then you too can begin to pray this j prayer and receive all that Jesus has done for you. We encourage you to go through this study with us in the weeks to come. It will teach you how to pray the way Jesus taught and it will enable you to be in fellowship and communion with God Our Father
