Health Dept,

sets flu shots

Any Rappahannock County residents over 60 years old are invited to receive a flu vaccine from the Rappahannock Health Department.

These vaccines are especially recommended for those in nursing and rest homes. The health department will be giving them at its Washington clinic on Gay Street on October 23. If you would like to receive this shot, please call the Health Department at 675-3516.

These vaccines are also available for all ages for those who have a recommendation from their doctor. There is a $5.00 charge for those without a Medicaid card. Anyone with a group which would like to be immunized may arrange a special time.
