OF PUBLIC HEARING

Notice is hereby given, pursuant to 15.1-431 of the Code of Virginia, that The Council of The Town of Washington, Va. will conduct a public hearing on Wednesday, November 12, 1986 beginning at 8 p.m. in the Courthouse at Washington, Virginia to consider the adoption of a water protection ordinance to prevent the pollution of'water within a five mile radius of The Town by the regulation of activities within said area which may present a danger to the Town’s water supply. The proposed ordinance is available for public inspection at the office of the Clerk of the Circuit Court of Rappahannock County, Va. Monday through Friday, between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. All citizens are invited to attend and present their views. This notice is being published in the Rappahannock News, a newspaper of general circulation in Rappahannock County for two successive weeks as required by the Code of Virginia, as amended.
