Mental Health

fund drive

The Mental Health in Rappahannock starts its fund drive in October. Very soon you will receive a letter asking for a donation. If you do not, please send your donation to Frances Thornton, Box 98, Sperryville, VA 22740.

The Rappahannock Association continues to promote the adoption of legislation for an effective mental lealth program.

“We support the clinic in Rappahannock. Please help us in the fight” Together we can make a better world,” said fund drive organizer Russie Miller.

A dinner was given for Mrs. Beatrice W. Butler on her 77th birthday, held October 5, by her children at the home of her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. William Gibbs of Boston.

Those in attendance were Mrs. Butler’s sister, Mrs. Cary Thornhill of Boston, Mr. and Mrs. William Thornhill, Mr. and Mrs. George Butler Jr., Mrs. Elaine Cullop. Brian and Lisa and Miss Elsie Courtney, all of Culpeper.
