The Rappahannock County
Elementary School will sponsor a student Book Fair from October 14 to 21. Students will have an opportunity to browse and purchase the books which will be on display in the library from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m.
Thomas M. Exton of Amissville participated in the Virginia 10-Miler held September 18 in Lynchburg. This is the third year this 10 mile race has been sponsored by First Colony Life Insurance Company and presented by the Lynchburg Roadrunners in cooperation with the city of Lynchburg. Exton placed 174th in the division in which a field of 782 started. He is the son of Lt. Gen. and Mrs. Hugh Exton.
