William (Ned) Settle is a very ill patient in the Winchester Memorial Hospital. He is visited daily by his family and I am sure he would like to hear from his friends. His address is Room 1603, Winchester, VA 22601.
Mrs. Bobby Weakley and son, Chuckie and Mrs. Erma Jenkins attended the Heritage Festival in Lu ray on Saturday.
Sunday luncheon guests of Mrs. Frances Eubank were Mr. and Mrs. Mike Hudson and daughter, Victoria of Sperryville. Ms. Betty Meneffee and John Meets of Sterling Park, Earl Meneffee of Warrenton visited in the Eubank home later in the evening.
Mr. and Mrs. Herndon Hudson, Ms. Etta Estes and Mrs. Frances Eubank had dinner at Nona Gioia's in Sperryville on Sunday night.

All you good folks of Hampton District, please donate a baked good or cash for our annual cider/bake sale. The Washington Ladies Auxiliary of the Fire Department will have a table set up near the Trinity Episcopal Church. We will be selling apples, cider, tea, hot dogs and baked goods. All donations will be greatly appreciated. We will be sell ing only on Saturday, the 18th this year, so plan to come and go oh the house tours, buy a dried flower arrangement and take home some good home baked cakes or pies and a gallon of good cider.
