FT A sponsors family film

The RCES PTA will sponsor a movie That Dam Cat, in the school gym Friday, Nov. 20, at 7:30 p.m. Hayley Mills, Dean Jones and Roddy McDowall star with an elusive Siamese cat who starts a cat and mouse chase when the only clue to a robbery ends up around his neck and he won’t stay in one place. You won’t want to miss this funny feline comedy that won the starring cat a Patsy Award, the animal equivalent of an Oscar. Price is $1 per person ($5 maximum per family). Door prizes will be given throughout the movie.

‘Get in Touch9 with Artists9 Forum

The RAAC’s Artists’ Forum will sponsor a workshop with Sally Nash on The Heightening of the Senses on Friday, Nov. 20, from 7-10 p.m. It will be held at Blackwater Homestead, the cost is $3 and as with all Artists’ Forum events it will begin with a potluck supper. Preparing for childbirth

A five-week refresher course designed for couples who have already experienced birth will begin Friday, Nov. 20, at 7 p.m. at Trinity Episcopal Church, Washington. Topics include review of Lamaze theory, coping with labor, dealing with the unexpected and preparing siblings. The $40 fee covers cost of a manual and the showing of films and slides.
