Sperryville is now attracting visitors and it is just as well that the tourists coming from the North slow ; down a bit after passing by Wash- ' ington. I find the two lane road i a • welcome diversion when driving ■ from the North and I seem to notiee more alongside the road when ap- i proaching Sperryville. The ambi- ; ance of the little town of Sperryville ‘ seems to me quite nice as it is and I r fear it may change - and not for the better — if Sperryville will be alongside, or at the end of a four lane highway.
I am only a weekend resident and a relative newcomer, so my opinion should not count much. I hope, however , that the full time residents can be canvassed or will express their preference on this matter.
