A drawing will be held for a wooden elephant rocker and a decorative gingerbread house.
Another special feature of the bazaar, open to children only, will be the Children's Shopping Room. Each item in the room will cost $1. The gifts are suited for mothers, fathers, grandparents, teachers, aunts and uncles. A child can personally choose from a variety of items, pay for them, and have them gift-wrapped. The organizers stressed that no parents are allowed in this room.
Barney O’Meara has donated a Christmas tree for the bazaar. Coupons are available at the bazaar earmarking a $2 donation to CCLC from the price of any tree bought at his Christmas Tree Farm.
Chairman Berta hopes that the bazaar will be a “festive occasion and full of the Christmas spirit.” Other committee members are Patti Brown, Laurie Marshall, Linda Morehouse, Trish Drake, Kim Hudson, Marsha Thompson and Sherri Pace.
“This is an excellent opportunity for families to visit with Santa, shop for unique Christmas gifts, and have lunch*” said Mrs. Berta, “It should be an enjoyable outing for the whole family.”
