Mrs. Doug Bywaters.

Mr. and Mrs. W. C. Dennis of Jackson, S.C., arrived Monday evening to spend a few days with Mrs. Dennis’ mother Mrs. Robert Nethers. The Dennises were accompanied by Mrs. Thelma Russell of Culpeper, who had been visiting them in Jackson.

Mr. and Mrs. Bill Dennis and daughter Ashlyn arrived Tuesday from Jackson, S.C., for a visit with relatives here.

Visiting Mrs. Nethers and the Dennises were Mr. and Mrs. Maynard Nethers, George Nethers, Debbie Dennis, Donna Coffey and Daniel, Helen Coffey, Mr. and Mrs. Ranny Aylor, Heather Aylor, Karen Corder, Dorothy Lewis, Bud Corder and Mr. and Mrs. Nelson Nethers.

Mrs. Barbara Gentry attended a farewell party for Carolyn Szabad in Culpeper on Thursday.

Miss Sallie Lillard spent Thursday to Sunday with Mrs. Reba Good at Luray. They visited Estelle Leake in Luray Friday and on Saturday called on Mrs. Geneva Cubbage at Stanley.

Mr. and Mrs. Paul Lewis Miller Jr. of Odenton, Md., spent the weekend with Mr. Miller’s mother Mrs. Paul Miller.

Spc. Mark Werner will leave Nov. 18 for Alabama where he will attend Military Police School. He has been visiting his wife Crystal and son Joshua at the home of her parents Mr. and Mrs. Grady Vest.

Among those from Flint Hill who attended the District Conference in Charlottesville on Saturday were Moe Walker, Merlin Shorb and Barbara Gentry.

Mr. and Mrs. Carl Howell of Madison Heights spent Tuesday and Wednesday with Mrs. Howell’s mother Mrs. Paul Miller.

Mr. and Mrs. Russell Nicholson and Shane of Cedarville visited Mr. and Mrs. Grady Vest Saturday. Mrs. Vest attended a housewarming party for Mr. and Mrs. Rusty Nicholson in Front Royal Friday.

Having dinner at the Country Manor Deli at Sperryville Sunday were Merlin and Joy Shorb, Emma Swindler, Annabelle Swindler and Catherine Brown.
