Fine gifts at Middle St.

The Middle Street Gallery in Washington will be displaying fine \ arte and craft* for holiday ofta^.OiLpaintings and.£culpture»,hasket8, • qards, finely shaped exotic wood spoons, tree decorations and more will be available from the members of this fine cooperative gallery. Gallery hours are Fridays and Saturdays, 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., from Dec. 4 through Jan. 3. The Gallery will also be open Sunday, Jan. 6, from 35p.m.

Mr. Rappahannock at RCHS

The “Mr. Rappahannock’” contest will be held Friday, Nov. 20, at 7 p.m. at the Rappahannock County High School. Refreshments will be sold and admission is $2. This event is sponsored by the National Honor Society.

Flossie’s friends honored with tea

A tea will be given Sunday, Nov. 22, from 3-5 p.m. at the Parish Hall of the Episcopal Church in special recognition of the cookbook published by Friends of the late Mrs. Florence Williamson in her memory.

The general public is invited and a special invitation is extended to all who typed and tested Mrs. Williamson’s recipes. The refreshments served will be taken from “Flossie’s Recipes, the Wonderful World of Herbs, Oak Forest Gardens.”
