PTA meeting Feb. 2
The RCES PTA will meet in the school’s library Tuesday, Feb. 2, at 7:30 p.m. Members are encouraged to attend to discuss the parent/teacher dinner, school T-shirt sales and elect a nominating committee. A bus safety program is also planned.
The dream workshop
Dr. Denise H. Horton, a licensed clinical psychologist in private practice in Washington, D.C., and Rappahannock County, will conduct an introductory workshop on understanding your dreams at Lord Fairfax Community College on Sunday, Feb. 7, from 1-5 p.m. Psychic dreaming, recurring dreams, how to interpret dream symbols and learning how to “program” your dreams will be covered. Self-health for women
A four-part class on women’s health will be held at Middle St. Gallery beginning Feb. 17 and continuing through March 9. The class meets from 6:3fbto 8:30 p.m. The course will be taught by Kathleen Maier and Sherry Willis, who are both experienced in providing health care for women. Cost of the course is $40. Extension seminars planned
Extension seminars' in the coming weeks include Winning Tax Strategies - Timber Investment Planning Under the 1987 Tax Reform Act, Feb. 2-4, and Timber Tax Workshops with Emphasis on Changes Under the 1986 Tax Reform Act, Feb. 22-26.

Northern Forage conference

Fashion show planned
The Rappahannock Woman’s Club will sponsor a fashion show on the theme “Luck of the Irish” on Sunday, March 13, at 2 p.m. at the Rappahannock Elementary School. Advance tickets and/or patron ads may be purchased from any member.
