A retired Navy Commander, he now works for Advanced Technology Inc. as a systems analyst. Mrs. Tweel majored in music and later taught in Norfolk. She now has a craft business and travels to shows throughout the area. They have two children, John Jr., a student at Georgia Tech, and Catherine, who attends high school in Springfield.
The Tweels have not announced a firm date for the opening of The Churchmouse.
