"Magazine prices are very competitive. Many specials are being offered," said Principal Maggie Piper. Better Homes and Gardens is 28 percent off the regular price. McCall's is 44 percent off the single-copy cost, Xewsu'eek is 77 percent off its cover price and Time is 70 percent off the cover price, she said.
Records and tapes will also be available.
Renewal orders can also be taken by the students by clipping the mailing label from the magazine and attaching it to the order form.
Mrs. Kidwell and Mrs. Piper are concerned that not all residents will be contacted. Anyone who isn’t contacted but wishes to subscribe is urged to call the school at 987-8259 and arrangements will be made.
“You're getting something for your money as well as helping bus communications,” Mrs. Piper said.
