Adding to this frustration is the knowledge that the government did see fit to include $5.5 million to fund a “sex-ed” curriculum that it appears a great majority oppose, $6 million for a park and zoo at Roanoke, and $5 million for a museum in Henry County. The cost of any one of these projects would almost equal the cost of developing a veterans’ home and cemetery.
