Lewis C. Nelson, formerly a native of this county and nephew of the late Mrs. Ethel Cooksey, attended his 50th high school class reunion professionally organized by his very, very close friend Mrs. Stella Dennis Johnson of Luray and held at Flint Hill at the former elementary school and now a fabulous restaurant on Saturday evening, October 15. Nelson was accompanied by his long time and great friend Attorney John W. Emeigh of Washington, D.C. Nelson sold his memorable home on 3816 Warren St., N.W., Washington, D.C. to Attorney Alan Held who is currently connected with the Department of Justice and his good wife Trudy Held of Minneapolis, Minnesota who now have a most precious girl. Nelson sold his home to the tune of $255,000 cash and has great expectations of taking two major trips, Toronto, Cananda and Niagara Falls next year and a cruise on the Jue E Two, 10 day execursion trip, to Southampton, England and return on the following year.
