“Urban Forestry and Wildlife Practices” will be the topic of a forestry and wildlife bus tour, Friday, Nov. 4, in Fairfax and Loudoun counties.
The tour is one of a statewide series designed to promote good resource management on private timberlands. Foresters, wildlife specialists, and landowners will share their expertise on how to grow trees and encourage wildlife, said Harry L. Haney, Virginia Tech Extension specialist in forest management-economics.
