Thornton Semones
Thornton D. Semones, 76, of Amissville, died June 15, at Fauquier Hospital.
He was a retired welder.
Survivors include his wife, Frances M. Semones, Amissville; two daughters, Barbara Bradley, Houston, Texas, Vivian Semones, Richmond; one sister, Juanita Long, Radford; one brother, Mark Semones, Christiansburg, Va.; and four grandchildren.
Funeral services were held June 17 at Moser Funeral Home in Warrenton. The Rev. Steve Parker, the Rev. Carl Schmahl officiated. Interment was in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Jeffersonton.

Mrs. Helen Jeffries, 80, of Achsah, Va., died June 15 at Martha Jefferson Hospital.
