and had lived in Achsah, Va. and was a member of Amissville Baptist Church.

Survivors include three daughters. Mary Ann Wiltshire, Locust Grove, Mrs. Lucille Gray, Round Hill, Va., Mrs. Elsie Shifflett, Louise County; eight sons, James Jeffries, Alexandria, Robert Jeffries, Fredericksburg, Wade Jeffries, ' Charlottesville, Charlie Jeffries, Warrenton, Edward Jeffries, Manassas, Junior Jeffries, Herndon, Louie and Sonny Jeffries, both of Achsah; many grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren.

Her husband was the late Joseph C. Jeffries.

Her parents were the late James and Lillie Mae Tharpe.

A funeral service was held at Amissville Baptist Church Sunday, June 18 with the Rev. Thomas Everett officiating. Interment was in the church cemetery.
