The Fauquier Democrat is looking for an unflappable individual with good public relations and word processing skills to be the social news editor of the paper. Duties include editing press releases, writing articles and helping with layout primarily in the Countryside section. A knowledge of newspaper work and word processing is a plus. Expect a heavy work schedule with longer hours Mondays and Tuesdays and sometimes Fridays. Applications may be picked up at the front desk of The Fauquier Democrat.
