Mr. and Mrs. George Hawkins were Thursday overnight guests of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Codding in Fairfax. While there they attended the high school graduation exercises where the Coddings’ daughter Cady graduated. She plans to attend the College of William and Mary this fall.
Recent guests of Mr. and Mrs. George Hawkins were Mrs. Elizabeth Edmonds and Mrs. Clarice Burke, both of Eronh Royal, Mrs. Fred Codding and Mrs. Bill Gassert, both of Fairfax and Miss Penny Jones of Richmond.
The Administrative Board of the Sperry ville United Methodist Church met Monday evening with Mrs. Lee Swindler. Those present were Rev. Merlin Shorb, Mrs. Margaret Ann Way land, Mrs. Catherine Brown, Mrs. Polly Aylor, Mrs. Annabels Swindler, Ms. Alice Chrisman, Julian Brown, Nelson Nethers and Hugh Chrisman.
Mr. and Mrs. Jim Swindler and Mrs. Lee Swindler were weekend guests of Mr. and Mrs. Dennis Hathaway and Sara at Chincoteague. Mrs. Natalie Hathaway and Sara returned with them for a week’s visit with Mr. and Mrs. Jim Swindler.
Mr. Hugh Atkins has returned home from Culpeper Memorial Hospital and is doing nicely.
Mr. Clyde Atkins remains a patient at Culpeper Memorial Hospital and is expected to return home on Wednesday.
