The 1st place Astros from Amissville (3-0) will play the Yankees Tuesday while the Red Sox will entertain the Astros Thursday, June 22.
All who saw the Yankees-Red Sox game were excited and agreed it was a great Little League game. Everyone is urged to come out to the next game and to all of the remaining games as the race is tightening with half the season gone.
“Please help support these teams with your attendance at Rappahannock Elementary field and Stuart field in Amissville. Baseball is a wholesome worthwhile activity for our kids. We as parents can assure this for our kids by supporting little league and attending these games," said Coach Don Dorrell.
The remainder of the season is very important to all the teams involved. The Amissville Players, Astros and Bulldogs are all fighting for playoff spots as are the Yankees and Red Sox.
