Saturday, Aug. 26: Flash Gordon & the Rocketts, an old-time Rock and Roll dance-concert with one of the area’s premier rock and roll bands playing traditional music from the 1950’s and 1960’s.
The concerts are presented by the Bluemont Concert Series in partnership with the Fauquier County Parks and Recreation Department, the Town of Warrenton and a broad base of business leaders, groups and individuals here in Warrenton. This series is part of Bluemont Summer, a regional project of courthouse concerts supported by community partnerships in Leesburg, Warrenton, Berryville* Culpeper and Winchester. -*
“Bluemont is a volunteer based organization,” says Pat Tuckef^ Bluemont board member and summer coordinator in Fauquier County. “We have a growing list of volunteers who do much of the work that makes the Warren Green Concerts a reality," she continued, “but there’s always room for more helping hands.”

The Bluemont Concert Series is a non-profit regional arts organization that presents top quality arts events throughout the year in Fauquier County and the region. Last year ‘ Bluemont presented more than 250 events in 50 communities including 43 Bluemont Summer concerts, 140 artist-in-education programs in 90 local schools, 36 community benefits performances at local nursing homes, hospitals and senior centers, two First Night Celebrations, and more.
