• encouraged Dr. Gangel to continue exploring the possibility of offering high school seniors the opportunity to take a college-level psychology course at the high school through cooperation with Lord Fairfax Community College. The students who complete this course would have six credits for college work as well as one more high school credit.

• approved a change in the instrumental music program that would have fourth graders who elect to take band start on recorders for one semester before switching to more expensive rental instruments.
