Music program at library

A participatory program of music and movement for children will be offered af next Wednesday's meeting of the v Paddington Bear Reading Club at the Rappahannock County Library. Local musician Barbara Calliagh will lead the program, which will begin at 10 a.m. She describes the program as one "for those, because of age and/or enthusiasm, are unable to stay seated or quiet during a performance." It is designed for children from toddler age to 12. The public is invited. For more information call the county library (675-3780).

C-M-R Farm Show

The annual Culpeper-MadisonRappahannock Farm Show will be held at Culpeper Agricultural Enterprise on U.S. 29 south of Culpeper through Monday, July 31. The events, which will include entries by local youth involved in the various 4-H programs, are pig, steer and lamb judging, homemaking competitions, a dog show, a petting zoo, and the popular sale of 4-H livestock on Monday evening. The public is invited to attend and see the displays of 4-H activities. For more information about specific times of events, contact the Rappahannock County Extension Office (675-3619).
