If the letters you have printed about Thomas Von Fange’s efforts to produce a community standard on obscenity are representative of public attitudes, we need not worry much. I write again on the matter only because the Rev. Von Fange misrepresents the movie rating system.
It is an advisory system operated by the movie industry, although not all movie makers subscribe to it. It has no force of law. Mreover, the Rev. Von Fange is confused about the ratings themselves. A “PG 13” rating means that theater operators should not admit persons under 17
