Several changes have been
made recently in the office of the Rappahannock County Department of Welfare. After resignations and in-office position changes, two new employees have assumed duties here. Sylvia Kreitler has accepted the position of social worker. The larger part of her work will be in the field of family and children’s services. Marie Davis has assumed the position of secretary to the Welfare Department. This position was left vacant after inoffice changes came about when eligibility technician Juanita Miko resigned.
The Rappahannock Farmers Market now has a complete line of fresh fruits and vegetables available. Com and tomatoes are the latest to appear, with blackberries and peaches still plentiful. Led by vice-president Ellen Taylor of the Virginia Council of Senior Citizens, delgates of Urbanettes of Arlington County, patronized the market last Saturday. They were well pleased, will return and bring others.
