An American kutiyattam scholar, Farley Richmond, will join Julie Portman, aritistic director of The Golden Key to host the event. Participating kutiyattam artists are K. Rama Chakyar, actor, P.V. Eswarannuni, drummer, and Anujan Ezhikode, costume and make-up artist. During the two day kutiyattam residency, there will be an opportunity to personally meet the artists, to speak with them and to question them about their work, their culture, tradition and stories.
