Mr. Henry’s application did come with proffers that would limit the use of the property. A long list of uses the property would not be used for was attached to the application. The property could not become a kennel, dry cleaners, or auto wrecking yard among other uses proscribed. Attorney Douglas Baumgardner, representing Mr. Henry, pointed out that the property is clearly within the area the county’s comprehensive plan specifiesfor future commercial growth.
The supervisors also voted approval for special exceptions for the Dombrowsky subdivision and the Ryan family subdivision, again following the recommendations of the Planning Commission.
