in part of the parcel, to meet Health Department regulations the septic system drainfields for two of the lots will have to be located on adjoining parcels.
The division, according to Mr. Morehouse, would give three of the 1.5 acre lots to Mr. and Mrs. Parrish and three of the 1.5 acre lots and the .41 acre parcel to Messrs. Lynch and O’Connell. Mr. Morehouse would receive a 37-foot strip of road frontage along Main Street, which he plans to add to his property through a bound1 ary adjustment.
He said that the intent of the subdivision was to allow the partnership to be divided up, “so that the partners can use them for their own benefit.” With the land advertised in the Rappahannock News early this year for a trustee’s sale, Mr. Morehouse told the planners, the partners decided to buy the property “to protect ourselves and the town.”
