sponsor a free horse and carriage rides on Main Street both days. The .stores displaying a fall leaf will offer a 10 percent discount on purchases to those having block tickets. The Front Royal Warren County Airport will provide a 30 minute airplane ride for $30 during the festival. Skyline Caverns offers a dollar discount off the admission cost to the caverns for those purchasing block ticket.
A United States Post Office will be set on the lawn at Ivy Lodge to assist with the mailing of prewritten letters from the festival. A special stamp cancellation stamp will be affixed to the envelopes along with the seal of the Warren Heritage Society.
Williams Chapel, CME Church, the oldest church in Front Royal, will be serving dinners on Saturday from the church on Chester Street. There will also be tours and exhibits of the church. Money raised by the church will be used for the restoration of the church’s windows.
Children of all ages will enjoy the many events and activities of this Nineteenth Annual Festival of Leaves along with the beauty of the Shenandoah Valley, a spokesman for the festival said.
