Three ones couia aaa up to $5,000 for Virginia Lottery players beginning Thursday, Oct. 12. That is the date that the Lottery’s latest instant game, “One For the Money,” goes on sale at more than 5,600 retailers across the state.
“We are introducing an entirely new way to play the instant game with ‘One For the Money,’” according to Lottery Director Ken Thorson. “Players who match three ones across or down will win a prize.”
“One For the Money,” the Lottery’s eighth instant game, offers six prize levels: a free ticket, $2, $5, $10, $40 and a top prize of $5,000. There will be more than 12 million winning tickets in the 60 million printed, creating a 1 in 5 overall chance of winning.
To kick off the new game, a “One of a Kind” celebration will be held in four cities on Saturday, Oct. 14. For each losing “One For the Money” tickets pruchased, players will receive $1 million in fake money to spend on lottery items, such as tshirts, hats and mugs. Players can
