Community band
concerts Oct. 14, 22
The Front Royal-Warren County Community Band ^ has resumed weekly rehearsals each Tuesday evening to prepare for concerts during the fall season.
Performances are scheduled for the Festival of Leaves on Saturday, Oct. 14 at 1 p.m. and at the White Post Celebration on Sunday, Oct. 22 at 4 p.m. New music for the Christmas concert is on order and should be available next week, according to band director John Russell.
Rehearsals are scheduled weekly1 for Tuesday evenings from 7:30 to 9 p.m. on the Randolph-Macon Academy stage, which is located in the gymnasium. All past members of the community band are urged to attend the rehearsals.
An open invitation is extended to all present and past musicians within commuting distance, as well as locally, to join in the fun that the members have in rehearsals and concerts, Mr. Russell added.
