music group Trapezoid, theatre artist Steve LeBlanc, dance and theatre artist Denise Read, dancer and choreographer Sharon Wyrrick and Ms. Portman to weave their award winning talents into one project.
“It’s a rare opportunity to see such a major work in progress,” Ms. Portman says. Eventually it will go on tour nationally and, when it does, the Washington-based group will continue to probe, interpret and reveal the work’s everemerging allegorical significance.
Tickets cost $7 in advance and can be purchased directly from the theatre at P.O. Box 203, Washington, VA 22747, at New Leaf Bookstore and Organic Harvest in Warrenton, Mountainside Market and the Country Cafe in Washington and the Royal Oak Bookstore in Front Royal.
Tickets also will be available at the door for $8.50, however seating is limited. Washington’s Town Hall is on Gay Street.
