me prodigal son realized his need of the Father. He changed his mind about the way he was living. He said, "Father, I have sinned against heaven and before thee." Many people have not changed their minds about sin, the church and the Lord. If you have never been saved, would you give your life to Jesus and allow His Holy Spirit to save your soul?
God will not save the person who rejects the blood. There is no other way to come to the Father except by the blood of Jesus that was shed on calvary's cross. Hebrews 9:22 says. Without the shedding of blood is no remission or no forgiveness of sin.
God will not save the apostate. Apostate is when a person hears the truth and turns from it. They might be have made a profession of faith and were baptized and united with a church. There are many in the churches today that have never been bom again. They have heard the truth preached and they have turned from it That is apostate. II Peter 2:21, 22 says, " For it had been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than after they have known it, to turn from the holy commandment delivered unto them. But it is happened unto them according to the true proverb, the dog is turned to his vomit again; and the sow that was washed to her wallowing in the mire."
God will not save those who have already died lost. The rich man in Luke 16:27 says he is in hell praying that someone would be sent to his five brothers back on earth at this time, to warn them not to come into that place of torment. After death, it is too late to tell anyone anything.
II Cor. 6:2b says, "Behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation. When is the best time to get saved? Right now, before your heart gets harden to the gospel, and you cross God's deadline.
Repent of sin and call upon his name and he will save you. "For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved." (Romans 10:13) "Believe on the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and thou shall be saved. (Acts 16:31)
