“But you’d have to file an erosion and sedimentation control plan,” Mr. McCarthy added.
Mr. Mitchell said that he estimated it would cost him $70,000 to $80,000 more to put in the road to serve the subdivision if he had to reapply after the board adopted new road standards.
Commonwealth Attorney Peter Luke said that the board could table the application for up to a year and consider that the road requirements had been “grandfathered” in from the time of the original application.
With Mr. Mitchell’s agreement, the board then voted to table the application until the March meeting unless Mr. Mitchell requests that it be tabled furt her.
