In fact, owing to the interest generated by the fluid conditions in the Communist Bloc nations, what Mr. Kiser has to tell us is of greater moment than it would be had the Cold War continued uneventfully to bump along. For one thing, we learn that changes related to modern times of course have been occurring in these mysterious countries.
