There are legal limits, however, on the time an applicant can be required to wait for our decision. While we think the “speed’3 with which our decision was reached (which Mr. Miller says “amazed” him) is an exaggeration, the Council did comply with the reqirement of the Subdivision Ordinance that, once a final plat of a subdivision is filed, “(t)he Council shall indicate approval or disapproval...within sixty (60) days from the date of filing.” If we had not complied with this time limit the subdivision would have been deemed approved, as filed, without the reqiremento or which our approval was conditioned.
