Feb. 10 brings a rare opportunity to be a partier and a do-gooder, both at the same time.
The partying part is a Valentine’s Day sweetheart dance at the Washington Fire Hall; the do-good part is that proceeds from the benefit dance will go to the Rappahannock Animal Welfare League.
Going for the dogs on Feb. 10 will be Crazy Eights, Rappahannock’s premiere dance band. They’ll be playing their popular mix of old time rock and roll and current hits destined for classic status, and as usual, the Eights will have a few suprises appropriate to the evening.
The proceeds from the benefit dance will be contributed by RAWL towards the completion of an animal shelter at the new county landfill. Specifically, the money will go for “no-kill” cages to be used to house
