Soldiers’ names sought
County residents with family serving in the Persian Gulf as part of Operation Desert Shield are asked to provide the names, APO address and birthdates of those servicemen and women. The project is being sponsored by the Culpeper Minute Men Chapter, National Society of Daughters of the American Revolution. The information should be sent to the Rappahannock News, P.O. Box 59, Washington, Va. 22747, Attn: Service list. The newspaper will publish a list of the names so that other county residents who wish to correspond with their neighbors can do so.
