Two bands will perform Thursday evening on the carnival grounds beside the fire hall on U.S. 211 just west of town. On Friday night there will be live entertainment again, along with the rides, games and food which are the ever-present accompaniments to a carnival.
Saturday and Sunday afternoons West Virginia Amusements, which is providing the carnival rides, plans a matinee with the children in mind. One ticket will buy all the rides the kids can take for one low price, providing afternoon fun for hours.
On Saturday evening the grand prize of $500 will be given away after the Sperryville Volunteer Fire Department’s Honorary Fire Chief is crowned at 11 p.m. Sunday afternoon at 2 p.m. the Rappahannock County High School Band will perform on the carnival grounds.
