The following businesses and county offices will be closed Monday, Oct. 8 in observance of Columbus Day:
The county government offices, Rappahannock Social Services Department, Rappahannock National Bank in Washington, Farmers and Merchants Bank in Flint Hill, Rappahannock Library and post offices.
Family Guidance Services of Rappahannock will also be closed. In case of an emergency, clinic staff may be reached by calling 675-3329.
