This failure to neuter companion animals creates a serious problem to all Animal Welfare Leagues in the land, as the numbers of unwanted pets seem to grow endlessly.
The Rappahannock Animal Welfare League is committed to save abandoned, neglected and abused animals and find good homes for them, but it is increasingly difficult to keep abreast of the tide.
Moreover it is heartbreaking to find dogs and cats “dumped” on the side of the road, on a porch or at a landfill site; some starving, some so young their eyes aren’t even open yet, others so sick they have to be put to
