Family portraits
The Chester Gap Volunteer Fire Department will sponsor a family portrait session on Oct. 27 and 28. The 10x13 canvas textured portraits valued at $59 will be available for only $5. Certificates are available from any member of the fire department. “They will make excellent Christmas gifts,” said an organizer. Musical at RCES

Radio fans sought
The Rappahannock Players are looking for people interested in 1940’s radio drama, comedy and music. The Players are planning a production based on a day in radio to be staged at the Gay Street Theatre in late October. A Life Drawing class meets at the Gallery each Thursday from 7:30 p.m. until 9 p.m. A model is provided, each person should bring their own supplies. The fee is $10 per class.
